Story time offered for toddlers, preschoolers

The Monmouth County Library offers a "Toddler Storytime" series for children ages 2 to 3 1/2, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Registration, which is required only for those who did not attend a fall 2000 or winter 2001 story time series, will be held at 10 a.m. March 28 at the library headquarters, Symmes Drive, Manalapan. Telephone registrations will not be accepted. The series will begin March 30 at 10 a.m. at the library headquarters. There are 12 sessions to choose from, but participants may register for only one session.

A "Preschool Storytime" series is offered for children who are 3 1/2 years and older as of the beginning of the program (March 26) but not yet in kindergarten. Parents/caregivers are required to remain in the children’s section during story time. Registration, which is required only for those who did not attend a fall 2000 or winter 2001 story time series, will be held at 10 a.m. March 22.

There are seven sessions to choose from, and the program will begin March 26 at the library headquarters.
