MARGARET ANN ROCK CANNON, 94, of Freehold, died Sept. 9 at Reformed Church Home, Old Bridge. Born in Sayreville, she had lived in South River for 42 years and in Milltown for 15 years before moving to Freehold 15 years ago. Mrs. Cannon was a communicant of Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Sayreville; a member of the Milltown Senior Citizens Club; and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America at St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo F., who died in 1971; a son, Matthew Cannon, in 1996; and a grandson, Matthew O’Donnell, in 1990. Mrs. Cannon is survived by three sons, Leo J. of Gainsville, Fla., Brian of South River and James of South Amboy; three daughters, Margaret Ann Hall of Millstone; Mary Jane Kohlhepp of Milltown and Barbara Ann O’Donnell of Freehold; a sister, Beatrice Hager of St. Augustine, Fla.; a brother, Joseph Rock of South River; 29 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. The funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Victories Church, followed by interment at New Calvary Cemetery, Parlin.
