Finley, Maltz are not part of Millstone Coalition, according to writer

Enough already. The idea of the Millstone Coalition was borne out of the division among candidates in each election.

The issues concerning the town were clouded by political rhetoric. Its mission [was] to provide a forum for the residents of Millstone Township on the many topics that may touch their lives. We evolved to do charitable events and volunteer work, as well as try to organize a bipartisan, grassroots focus on issues, not politics.

And what happened? The haters have turned what we stood for into something dark and negative, while saying the whole time they are for the betterment of the township. They are the only ones for the betterment of the town. Enough.

So, here I am, writing this letter to try once and for all to set the record straight for the public.

John Finley and Evan Maltz are not in any way, shape or form involved in the Millstone Coalition, nor have they been for approximately three years. For their detractors to continue to say so proves my point. The political ploys used during elections in Millstone never focus on the truth or important issues facing us all.

Please take this time now to remember what you’ve read here: The Millstone Coalition is not operating as a political entity and has not since last fall.

If you read about it during election time, it is being used to sway the minds of voters, instead of respecting each voter by speaking truth, offering tangible ideas about issues and playing fair.
