Millstone resident says Staib deserves voters’ support June 4

I am voicing my support for Roger Staib in the upcoming Republican primary, and I urge all registered Republicans in Millstone Township to vote for him so that he can win a position on Millstone’s Township Committee in November.

I have known Roger for fifteen years. I served on his campaign committee in the early 1990s when he won his race for township committeeman.

We need more representation by people who have Roger’s qualities. He is a stand-up person, never passes the buck, is never evasive, accepts responsibility and is willing to be totally accountable, and his honesty and ethics are beyond reproach. He makes decisions based on the facts without hidden agendas, and you will always know where he stands and why.

He is a consummate professional, does not make differences in political views personal, and does not engage in political vendetta.

We should also keep in mind that the township has a very large surplus, and I for one want that surplus protected.

John Pfefferkorn needs an ally like Roger Staib to protect township funds. Millstone Township experienced political corruption in the late 1980s. I see the same conditions forming again through political alliances that will violate the stewardship of the township.

The composition of the township committee needs to be changed by voting out a number of the incumbents. We can start with the June primary.

I urge you to give your full support to Roger Staib. He will be a true and faithful steward of Millstone.

Gregory M. Cinque
