Veterans’ memorial inscriptions due Oct. 1

The deadline for Millstone Township residents to have their names inscribed on the wall/bench at the veterans’ memorial is Oct. 1. The names will be inscribed for the Nov. 11 Veterans Day ceremonies.

Any veteran of the U.S. military forces who is a resident or has ever resided in Millstone is eligible to have his or her name engraved on the Millstone Township Veterans’ Memorial wall/bench. There is no charge.

Anyone who knows of a veteran whose name should be on the memorial should complete a form, which is available at the Millstone Municipal Building, or by calling (609) 259-9673 or (732) 446-2884. The completed forms may be mailed or delivered to: Veterans’ Memorial Council, Millstone Municipal Building, 215 Millstone Road, P.O. Box 240, Perrineville 08535.

The final sale of pavers will also end on Oct. 1. Anyone interested in purchasing a paver can obtain forms at the Municipal building or by calling one of the above numbers. Pavers can have up to four lines of 16 spaces each.
