Bulletin Board The March of Dimes will hold its third annual Casino Night Sept. 12, 7-11 p.m., at the Circle Landmark Restaurant, Lakehurst. Casino Night is an evening of games, music, dinner and prizes. Attendees will have an opportunity to play blackjack, craps, roulette and Caribbean poker, while raising money for babies. All winnings will be in the form of coupon chances for prizes. Tickets are $50 and include $50 in chips to play, a hot buffet dinner, dessert, cash bar, DJ music, door prizes, and a "tricky tray" auction. There also will be 50/50 raffles. The March of Dimes, founded in 1938, is a national agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality. Golf outing to benefit Samaritan Center Samaritan Center, Englishtown, will hold its 14th annual Jim Flanagan Golf Outing Sept. 15 at the Cranbury Golf Club, off Route 571 (Princeton-Hightstown Road) on Southfield Road. The cost is $125 per person and features a four-player scramble, golf cart, pay-as-you-go bar, buffet, and several golf awards and door prizes. Guests are welcome, and the cost for each additional dinner is $25. All net proceeds will benefit the Samaritan Center’s programs and are tax deductible. Samaritan Center is a full-time food pantry and crisis center serving the Manalapan-Englishtown area. For more information, call (732) 446-1142. Small Talk fund-raiser A golf event to benefit autistic children will be held Sept. 17 at Pebble Creek Golf Club, Colts Neck. The Small Talk Golf Outing will offer golf, breakfast, lunch and prizes. Small Talk is an organization dedicated to providing all children an opportunity to succeed regardless of any physical or mental challenges they may encounter. The group has raised funds to provide more than 85 scholarships for children ages 3-5, according to the organization’s press release. Tickets are $175, and businesses and professionals can sponsor "Hole on the Green" or a golf cart for $75. The deadline for reservations is Sept. 1.
