Volunteers needed for cancer society flower sale

The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers to sell daffodils in support of the organization’s research, education, advocacy and local patient service programs. Volunteers are also needed to package and prepare daffodil orders March 23-25 as well as drivers to deliver orders. Advance orders of daffodils, available in bunches of 10 for $7, a vase for $8 or as potted flowers for $10, will be taken until March 5. A "Gift of Hope, a fresh-cut daffodil bunch with a vase, may be delivered to a health-care facility designated by the American Cancer Society, for $20.
