CATHERINE A. LAWRENCE, 83, of Freehold Township died Sept. 6 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Lakewood, she had lived in Upper Freehold Township before moving to Freehold Township in 1949. Mrs. Lawrence was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Siloam Methodist Church, Freehold Township, and a member of the Freehold Township Independent Fire Co. No. 1 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Lawrence was predeceased by her husband, Gordon M., who died in 1970. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Miller C. and Frances of Freehold Township; two granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews. The Rev. Lynn Wilson officiated at the funeral services, which were followed by interment in Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township.
