Hospital auxiliary grateful for support

On behalf of the Millstone Township Hospital Auxiliary, I want to take this opportunity to thank the community for their continued support of our organization throughout our 40 years of existence (since 1965). Through your generosity during the year of 2004, we were able to turn over a check to CentraState Medical Center in the amount of $17,273.33.

Some of our major “fun”d-raisers which you continually support include the selling of poinsettias, the upcoming spring holiday flower sale (to be held on March 18 in the lobby of CentraState), our Easter candy sale made by Old Monmouth Peanut Brittle Co. (going on now), and the ongoing cancer awareness bracelet sale. Additionally, we participate in Millstone Day, hold an annual “Harvest Dance” and solicit donations via our annual “Apron Project” mailing.

Throughout the course of the year we also hold specialized sales from local vendors and sponsor assorted raffles. We also offer donor cards, whereby a donation can be made to CentraState on behalf of a loved one, whether to commemorate a birth, an anniversary, birthday or as a memorial.

Our meetings are held at the Millstone Township municipal building in Perrineville on the first Thursday of the month at 7:30 p.m. New members or visitors are always welcome. At our next meeting on April 7, we will be offering massages by Harmonious Balance Massage (nurse massage therapists). Please stop by for an interesting and enjoyable evening. Refreshments will be served.

We truly appreciate the generosity of our community and would like to again acknowledge and thank the Millstone Elks Lodge 2613 for their undying support.
