StreetHeart, based in central New Jersey, is holding auditions for a female voice to sing with a working, all-female, doo wop, a cappella group. Lead and harmony background experience is a must. Details: Vicki, (732) 780-2734.

Over the Rainbow Productions will hold auditions at the Eatontown Playhouse, Route 35, Tower Market shopping center, Eatontown, for the following shows: an original musical revue based on the movies of Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland, July 16, 2-4 p.m. (must be able to sing and dance — bring a CD to sing to); and “Proof,” July 16, 6 p.m. “Proof” will run Aug. 12-28, the Mickey and Judy revue will run Sept. 2-10. Phoenix Productions will hold auditions for its September production of the Gilbert & Sullivan comic operetta “Pirates of Penzance” July 18 and 19 from 7 to 9 p.m., and July 23 from 10 a.m. to noon. Auditions will be held at the Phoenix Rehearsal Center, 11 Monmouth St., Red Bank. Needed are 20 men and 20 women, all of whom must be strong singers with legit voices. Although there is limited choreography, many roles require the ability to move well. There are no roles for anyone under 15 years of age. Center Players will hold auditions for Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” July 18 and 20, 7:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m., at Center Playhouse, 35 South St., Freehold. The Festive Flutes, directed by Marjorie Koharski of Neptune, will be scheduling auditions throughout the month of July. The Festive Flutes perform programs of light classical music, show tunes and old favorites. The flute choir, with piccolo, C flutes and alto flute, performs concerts at libraries, churches, fundraisers, receptions weddings, and senior homes throughout New Jersey. The Heart of New Jersey Chorus, Sweet Adelines International, is seeking new members. There are openings in all voice parts.
