Fishing derby at Black Bear Day Camp June 10

The fifth annual "Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs" fishing derby will be held 9-11 a.m. June 10 at Black Bear Day Camp, Route 524, Millstone. Registration for the rain-or-shine event will be held at 8:15 a.m. The event is free.

Participants must bring their own fishing pole. Bait will be supplied to registered contestants. Prizes will be awarded in three categories for ages 5-8, 9-12 and 13-15. Judges and volunteers are still needed for the event, which is co-sponsored by the Millstone Township Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse and the Millstone Township Parks and Recreation Commission.
