Millstone group slates craft show at firehouse

The Millstone Senior Citizens Organization will host a craft show Sept. 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Millstone firehouse, 470 Stagecoach Road, Millstone. Tables are $15. Details: (609) 208-0763.

Allentown to host 'Mane' Street Horse Parade

In Celebration of Allentown's 300th Anniversary, Upper Freehold's Community Day and in recognition of New Jersey's Day of the Horse, Allentown will hold the Mane Street Horse Parade at 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 16. Allentown H.S. to hold 20-year reunion Nov. 4

The Allentown High School class of '86 will hold its 20-year reunion from 7-11 p.m. on Nov. 4 at Martell's Tiki Bar, Point Pleasant. Tickets are $75 per person and must be ordered by Sept. 8. Fall Harvest Festival

Crafters, artisans and antique dealers wanted for participation in the 23rd Annual Fall Harvest Festival, sponsored by the Allentown Business Community Association, in historic Allentown, which will be held October 14-15. Golf outing to benefit library, AHS athletes

The AHSpga Foundation and Reed's Sod Farm will co-host the 2006 Redbird Golf Classic to benefit the Allentown Public Library and the student athletes of Allentown and Millstone Township. Every dollar raised will be put to use for the education and athletic benefit of the children.

The golf outing will take place with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. at the Cream Ridge Golf Club. The cost to play is $130 per player and includes greens fee, cart and a barbecue. The event will also include on-course refreshments, a raffle, and trophies for winners.

PJC schedules Open House for new members

The Perrineville Jewish Center, Millstone Township, will hold an open house on Sept. 6 from 7-9:30 p.m. Those who attend will have an opportunity to tour the synagogue, learn more about the Hebrew school and meet various members of the center. Camp for kids offers cricket, rugby and more

Roosevelt's recreation department will partner with the U.S. Sports Institute, which is at the forefront of providing summer camps for boys and girls ages 5-14 of all abilities, to give children the unique opportunity to experience 15 different sports from around the world. Children can learn how to bowl a cricket ball, play rugby, shoot hoops and score plenty of goals in a variety of sports. All activities and games will take place under the guidance of qualified coaches who are chosen for their ability to inspire, motivate and encourage campers. The program in Roosevelt for 2006 will take place at the Roosevelt Public School from Aug. 28 to Sept. 2. It will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for children ages 5-7.
