Community Education spring classes set to begin

Millstone Township Community Education will begin its spring classes this month.

Take a genealogy class, March 15, 22, and 29 at Millstone Middle School, Room 166, from 7-8:30 p.m. Research your family tree, and experience the fun and satisfaction of documenting your family's history. Three sessions will cover basic introduction to the field, records to use, and computer and Internet sources. Instructor Casey Zahn, a teacher for 21 years, has taught genealogy classes to all age groups. She has authored two books, "All About My Family" and "Family News," and has recently published in Heritage Quest Magazine. She founded the Central Jersey Genealogy Club. Cost is $45.

Dance lessons with Candace Woodward-Clough will be offered through Millstone Community Education Mondays, March 12 through April 2, at the Millstone Middle School cafeteria. Learn the basic steps for waltz, fox trot, and swing in ballroom dance, or shake and sizzle as you learn the steps to salsa, cha-cha, tango, and rhumba. Ballroom dancing will be held 7:30-8:30 p.m., and Latin dancing will be 8:30-9:30 p.m. Cost is $38 per person or $70 per couple.

For further information about these and many other programs the Millstone Township Community Education offers, contact Director Barbara Schulze at (732) 446-6802, ext. 17, or www.schulzb@millstone.k12.nj.us.
