Wishbows grateful for community support

On Jan. 23, the Allentown High School (AHS) community hosted a fundraiser at the school for our daughter, Rebecca, who was diagnosed with leukemia last fall. She is currently a junior at the high school and has been very active for the past three years at AHS. The fundraiser was called "A Night Out for Becca." Thanks to the efforts of many, the night was a huge success. We know it would be difficult to mention all those involved, but we wish to publicly thank the staff, administrators, faculty, teachers, coaches, teammates, and all our friends from AHS, Millstone Township and Upper Freehold.

Cancer is a disease that most of us can relate to through personal experience. It seems we have all had friends or family members with cancer, or worse yet, many have had to battle with it personally. Our community, friends, the Millstone Township school system and AHS have been constant sources of support, encouragement and love to our family and Becca since the day of her diagnosis, and for that we are eternally grateful.
