Millstone Wyldlife/Younglife fundraiser was tremendous success

Once again Millstone WyldLife and Younglife youth groups showed what they are all about. But, we couldn't do it alone and we would like to extend a tremendous thank you to all who made the fourth annual spaghetti dinner a big success.

On Wednesday, May 23, more than 65 children came to the Millstone Elks in a joint effort to raise money for summer camp. With the help of the Elks and other local sponsors, the kids were able to serve a delicious spaghetti dinner to nearly 400 guests, raise some money, and have fun all at the same time.

A big thank you to our local sponsors for donating the delicious food that was served: Romeo's Pizza, L & M Foods, Christine and Tony Alves and Oasis Foods, Battleview Orchards, Bella Napoli, Clarksburg Inn, Jeff and Lisa Lane, Freehold's Panera Bread, Vesuvio's, Wemrock Orchards, Rosario's Deli, Chapter House, Tigers Tale, and Albivi's along with our parents who provided delicious dessert.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to the Millstone Elks Lodge No. 2613. Not only did they bend over backward to help us and donated their beautiful banquet facility but they presented the club with a generous donation. These men are truly committed to our children and to our community. And of course, a special thank you goes to all of the wonderful people who continue to support our kids by eating out Wednesday night at the Elks. Of course, behind the scenes we had a great team of parent helpers who also worked hard to make this dinner a success. Thank you.

Last but not least, we would like to thank our children of WyldLife and Younglife. Your love for life and your commitment to sharing God's gifts with others continually inspires us, and for that we thank you. Get psyched for a great time at summer camp. God Bless.
