MOMS Club of Millstone scheduled to meet July 11

The MOMS Club of Millstone Township will hold its monthly meeting July 11 at 1 p.m. in the Millstone Township Community Center located at 463 Stagecoach Road (between the Clarksburg Inn and the fire station).

The MOMS Club of Millstone Township welcomes and encourages all mothers and children from Millstone and Roosevelt to meet the members and learn more about the international, nonprofit organization, offering local stay-at-home and part-time working moms support and the opportunity to share activities and experiences with other local moms and their children. The group will discuss upcoming activities, including special programs, play groups, play dates, service projects, book club, a monthly MOMS Night Out and scheduled guest speakers and topics for discussion. 'Life's a beach' for beach crafts class participants

Millstone Township Community Education is offering a "beach crafts" class that will be themed around a beach vacation. With more sophisticated crafts in mind, participants will make a shell and bead necklace with beads they create, a shell angel ornament, beachcomber bag, sand seascape, ceramic sea creature and more. The class instructor, Kathleen Gibson, is an artist and teacher. Class begins July 9 through July 13, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Cost is $75.
