Firehouse to serve up fun with Halloween parade

The Millstone Township Fire Company's Ladies' Auxiliary will hold its annual Halloween parade Oct. 28. Sponsored by Millstone Township-area organizations and businesses, the parade will line up at the fields behind the Clarksburg Inn on Stagecoach Road (Route 524) at 1:45 p.m. and will begin promptly at 2 p.m. (the road will be closed at 2 p.m.). The event will feature goodie bags and door prizes, as well as prizes for the scariest, most original, prettiest, most patriotic and funniest costumes. The auxiliary is collecting donations of individually wrapped candy for the event. Donations should be dropped off before Oct. 23 at the Millstone Township firehouse on Stagecoach Road between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday.
