In men's soccer action, UFA 40 were resoundingly beaten 3-1 in a home match Sunday morning against Middletown. In a game that they never really got into, UFA fell behind early after failing to execute the offside trap efficiently. The visitors went from strength to strength and were two up at the half, three up after 60 minutes, before Erik Estrada pulled one back for the home team. With an off week coming up, UFA has two weeks to regroup, and hopefully put a better product on the field.
