Harry W. Kaut

Mr. Kaut, 82, of the Clarksburg section of Millstone, died Feb. 8 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Before his retirement,Mr. Kaut was an operating engineer for the New Jersey Department of Transportation. He was a past commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of Clarksburg, a member of the American Legion of Trenton, a former Elk of the Year, and a former chairman of the Handicapped Children Committee of the Millstone Elks. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Kaut; three sons and two daughters-in-law, William and Barbara of the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold, Robert and Madeline of Clarksburg, and Harry of Jackson; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Bernice Kaut of Rutherfordton, N.C.; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, followed by interment at PrincetonMemorial Park, Robbinsville.
