Mega-raffle will help send AHS golf team to S.C.

The Redbird Golf Classic III will host a mega-raffle in conjunction with Reed Sod Farm, the Allentown High School Parent Golf Association, Hampton Inn Hotels and Kings Grant Country Club.

The grand prize is two rounds of golf for four at Kings Grant Country Club in Fayetteville, N.C., and an overnight stay at Fayetteville's Hampton Inn. Two winners will receive a second prize of Titleist or King Cobra golf clubs. Ten third-place prizes will be awarded and include Nike gear and apparel.

Each raffle ticket costs $10 and proceeds will benefit the Allentown High School golf team's spring break trip toMyrtle Beach, S.C. where it will participate in the 2008 Palmetto High School Golf championships.
