Chili contestants needed for annual family event The Allentown Recreation Commission will hold its third annual chili contest from 5- 9 p.m. March 29 at the Allentown First Aid building, Route 526 (Waker Avenue). Chili contestants are sought. Call to register your chili entry at (609) 259-6405. There is no fee to enter. The event will offer family fun and games, prizes, hot dogs, chips, drinks, dessert and chili. Country music and dancing will be provided by Renegade Rich & Debi. Admission for children age 3- 12 is $2 and $5 for adults. Proceeds will benefit the Allentown First Aid Squad.
