Jodi Melnik

Miss Melnik, 41, of Charlotte, N.C., died March 15 at University Hospital, Charlotte, N.C. She lived in Manalapan for over 30 years before moving to Charlotte two years ago. Miss Melnik received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was on a graduate fellowship there. She is survived by her parents, Stephen and Lee of Jackson; a sister, Beth Tarantino of Jackson; her nephews and niece, J.T., Zachary and Paiton of Jackson; and her aunts, Gerry August of Hackensack and Maxine Kaye of Cheshire, Conn. Services were held at Beth Olam Memorial Park, Lakewood on March 9, arranged by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
