Rutgers offers progressive agriculture safety event

Progressive Agriculture Safety Day, sponsored by New Jersey's Junior Breeder's Symposium, Farm BureauWomen's Committee, and Agricultural Experiment Station, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 5 at the Food Science Building, 65 Dudley Road, New Brunswick.

Space is limited to the first 300 that register on the day of the event. Planned activities include demonstrations and discussions on numerous safety topics related to chemicals, animals, farm equipment, first aid, small ruminant pre- and post- natal care and equines. A fee of $12 per attendee covers the cost of lunch, snacks and speakers.
