Martin A. Wolke

Mr.Wolke, 47, of Chicago, died Jan. 26, 2008, at his home. Raised in Spotswood, he graduated St. Joseph's H.S., Metuchen, and attended Boston University prior to moving to Chicago in 1983.He later obtained an associate degree in accounting. A man of many interests, he was passionate about human rights and social injustice and worked tirelessly to help the unfortunate of Chicago. He is survived by his father, Herb Wolke, and his wife, Marian, of Matawan; his mother, Veronica Potter, and her husband, Frank, of Allentown; a sister, Marienne Gallagher, and her husband, Rick, South River; a brother, Michael, and his wife, Shandy, of Adelaide, Australia; a sister, Laura, of North Carolina; and a brother, Thom, ofNewHampshire.A memorial service was held at the Cream Ridge Golf Club, in the Cream Ridge section of Upper Freehold. Memorial donations can be made the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
