Samuel Curlis Gravatt

Mr. Gravatt, 81, a resident of Millstone since 1932, died April 18, 2008, at home. He was a construction superintendent and heavy equipment operator before his retirement. Mr. Gravatt was also a bus driver for the Millstone Township schools. Surviving are his wife, Helen Globis Gravatt; a son, Gary B. Gravatt and his wife, Rita, of Freehold; two daughters, Jeanette Lynn Gravatt of Millstone, and Helen Marie Tarnecki and her husband, John, of Plainsboro; and three grandchildren. Graveside services were held at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township, under the direction of Higgins Memorial Home, Freehold.
