Golf tourney raises funds for UFRSD ALLENTOWN - The Upper Freehold Regional Education Foundationwill host its first golf tournament fundraiser on June 9. Tee Off Fore Education will take place at the CreamRidge Golf Club on Route 539. Proceeds fromthe eventwill fund education grants for the Upper Freehold Regional School District. Foundation President James Derasmo, who will serve as master of ceremonies, said, "Participating in this event directly benefits children of all ages in Upper Freehold. Revenue generated from the entry fees, sponsorships, and silent auction fund important - and much-needed - education grants for theUpper Freehold Regional School District." The upper Freehold Regional Education Foundation is a nonprofit coalition of the private, business, and civic sectors, dedicated to promoting quality education by establishing, supporting and enhancing programs in the school district. The tournament is limited to 144 golfers. All participants receive breakfast and a luncheon, refreshments, complimentary use of the driving range, 18 holes of golf (scramble format), prizes and tournament gifts. Registration begins at 7 a.m. The tourney kicks off with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. and is followed by a silent auction. Single-entry cost is $130 and includes golf cart and greens fees. Golf attire and soft-spike shoes are required. Sponsors of the event include ContemporaryMotor Cars, Paradise Pools and Spas NJ, Blade Contracting Inc. and Sanford Morhouse, Esq.
