Mr.Maier, 71, ofMillstone, diedApril 27, 2008, in Jackson. Born in Fords, he was a resident of Millstone for 30 years. Mr. Maier was a history teacher for 35 years in the East Brunswick School District and retired in 2001.He is survived by his wife, Barbara Tifft Maier; his children, Lisa and her husbandDanBublitz,RebeccaMaier,ChristopherMaier and JonathanMaier; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Harry Maier and Don and Joan Maier; and a granddaughter.Afuneral servicewas held at Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, followed by a private cremation.Memorial donations may bemade to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place,Memphis, TN 38105
