Millstone church collects wearable goods for needy

The Christian Education Committee of theUnited PresbyterianChurch ofMillstone is sponsoring a used clothing drive from 9 a.m. to noonAug. 9. The eventwill take place in the church parking lot at 211 Millstone Road, in the Perrineville section ofMillstone.

Items being collected are wearable and usable clothing for men, women and children, shoes, belts, handbags, bedding, cur- tains, towels, stuffed animals and small hard toys. Donations must arrive in tied plastic bags.

The church will receive money for every pound collected.Allmoney raised will go directly to the land fund. The clothing will be sorted and shipped in containers to Africa, Central America, South America, India and Eastern Europe.
