Michael J. McDermott

Mr. McDermott, 55, of Little Egg Harbor and formerly of Morganville, died May 16, 2008, at Southern Ocean Hospital, Manahawkin. He was a judiciary clerk grade four for Monmouth County Court House in Freehold for the past 21 years. Surviving are his wife of five years, Sherri Baranowski McDermott; his mother, Anne Champ of Manahawkin; his father, Bernard McDermott of Howell; a sister, Barbara McDermott-Lloyd of Howell; two brothers, Steven Champ and Jaime Champ, both of Manahawkin; and an uncle, Charles Chirico of Little Egg Harbor. Funeral services were held at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown, followed by burial at Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo. Raymond Corneau

Mr. Corneau, 60, of Englishtown, died May 11, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold after a battle with cancer. He was a member of Laborers Union 156 and 594 for more than 30 years, retiring in 2005. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Linda; two daughters, Michelle Linke and her fiance, FrankWilliams, of Plainsboro and Kelly and her fiance, Danny Dalton, of Jackson; two sons, Raymond and his wife, Dana, of Millstone and Ron of Englishtown; and two grandsons. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Freeman Funeral Home, Manalapan. Mr. Corneau will be cremated in a private ceremony. Memorial donations may be made to St, Jude Children's Research Hospital.
