Free landscaping packet available to area residents

Freehold Soil Conservation District is offering a landscaping education packet to area residents.

The packet is a guide to conservation landscaping practices that provide positive contributions to water quality and wildlife habitats.

The packet includes 10 fact sheets on a variety of topics including water quality protection, soil testing, native plants, water conservation, trees, non-toxic landscaping solutions and stream protection.
