Edward John Vaughan

Mr. Vaughan, 46, a resident of Manalapan for 43 years, died Sept. 6, 2008, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He worked as a machine repairman for the Port Authority PATH trains. Mr. Vaughan is survived by his wife, Karen; a son, Edward "E.J."; his parents, Edward and Loretta Vaughan; a brother, John, all of Manalapan; and three sisters, Patricia Dantone of Monroe, Rosemarie Sauer of Franklin, Tenn., and Christine Neri of Englishtown. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Englishtown, followed by interment at Old Tennent Cemetery in Manalapan. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, N.J. 07702. Arrangements were under the direction of the Freeman Manalapan Funeral Home.
