A Monmouth County press release titled "Freeholders introduce 2009 county budget" in the Feb. 19 Examiner incorrectly stated that under the proposed county budget, the county tax rate would be 22.5 cents for each $100 of assessed valuation, the same as last year. The proposed county tax rate would be 23.04 cents for each $100 of assessed valuation, up from last year's amount of 22.5 cents.

The article "Three U.F. residents vie for two BOE seats" in the March 19 edition of the Examiner should have stated that Steve Gagliardi is the northeast regional manager for Bio-Rad Laboratories in California and not the North American sales manager. We regret the error.
